My Dad Died

Last night at midnight my father died. Even though my head knows it is for the best, he had Alzheimer's, MS, was blind, and was mostly deaf, it still hurts. We knew it was coming. We weren't blind-sided. I was prepared for it. But it still hurts.

    My thoughts are with you. I lost my mom 6 months ago. We knew it was coming, but it still hurt. Be strong and give yourself the chance to heal.

    Intellectually, you were prepared...Emotionally...I don't think we ever are...Sorry for your loss. ((hugs)) I lost my Dad in 2004 and I still miss him every day...but the pain IS less.

    My best friend just lost her dad, too. I lost mine in 2007, and he had memory problems, too. I will keep you in my prayers.
