I just checked my blog stats and so far in half the month I've had as many hits as I usually get in a whole month. In a usual month I get between 40,000 and 45,000 hits, unless I get sick or go on a trip and don't post for a few days. Today I'm just at over 42,000. So who are all you new folks coming by to read me? Or to plow through the archives in a week or two. Introduce yourselves and stay a spell. And I'm curious where you're coming from...

I can see my pages viewed on my control panel, but don't have any stats nearly that high. Are you looking somewhere else for your stats? Congrats on great stats!!

I noticed mine peaked this month too. When you really think about it, its kindof weird to have that many people reading your thoughts each day/month. Hopefully they are learning something in the process...I agree, they should join us. We could likely learn from them too!

CCF--It's on the control panel. It's gone from between 1500 to 2000 to between 3200 to 4000 a day. I'm just curious where I picked all these people up from because that is a solid jump.

Hmm, mine went over 30,000 in August, while the previous four months were in the 20Ks, and it's on track to go over 30K again this month (at 17K so far). Just something in the air right now?

CJ--I suppose it could be people feeling the pinch out there and looking for ways to get their finances in order and cut back on their bills and live more frugally in this economy.
