DH Finished the Taxes

We will be getting back $8,425. $8000 goes straight the BoA and the $425 is going to pay for DD's driver's ed class. He says they will be processed on 2/23. He didn't get a when to expect it date, though. How long does it usually take when you e-file?

    I think last year when we e-filed and had direct deposit it was between a week and two weeks. Congrats on a good refund!

    You can look up the expected date on the irs website. It's called the IRS Refund Cycle Chart I believe.

    You do usually get them back in one week with e-filing and direct deposit. That may change a little the closer it gets to April. The Where's my Status on the IRS site has not been working properly. They may have fixed it now but it wasn't working just a few days ago. It will tell you not to worry that it does not mean they don't have your return. As long as you get the accepted status from whatever software you chose you should be good.
