Paid Some Bills

Payday was Friday, but what with all the new car business I didn't do anything about it until today. Well, it did it's own thing on the autopays, but I recorded it in the spreadsheet today and deducted it from the checkbook.

$32.50 Me Life Insurance
$41.00 Old House Insurance
$96.51 Car Insurance
141.00 Storage

$348.62 Total autopays out

I was going to pay two medical bills and the mortgage today as well, but got so busy today I didn't get around to it. I'll do it tomorrow.

DD's 2nd meeting with the dietician went well. She was quite pleased with how well DD is doing. DS's filling went well, too.

I spent $89.79 at the grocery store today and added 21 cents to the coin jar.

    hi -- i have a personal question but you don't have to answer it. how are your life insurance premiums so low? mine and my husband's are much higher and we are in good health in our 30's/40's.

    We got our insurance when we were in our middle twenties and it was lower cost to start then. We don't drink or smoke or have a drug history and at the time we had no risk factors for anything (now both have high BP). We have the multi-insurance discount because our home and car insurance is with the same company as our life insurance. Also, you may have a higher amount on your payout. Ours is $250,000 for DH and $100,000 for me. We actually need to increase our coverage which means our payments will go up. So any one of those factors might be why. It also may have to do with what state we live in as well and different insurance law limitations.
