Worth the Trip

I went for a walk through the park with the kids tonight and I found $2.31. I found two dollar bills wrapped up together in the parking lot and then a quarter, a nickel and a penny on the walking path. We just might have to go through the park more often with that kind of payment. I haven't felt this thrilled at finding money since I found $5 in the Trader Joe's parking lot. The money has gone to my coin jar with the eventual desitination of the Emergency Fund.

    Very exciting! Finding money like that is like a secret treasure hunt. With a haul like that, I do keep my eyes peeled in case it was a little kid that lost it though. Smile

    We were the only car in the parking lot and no one else was in sight, so whoever lost it must have done it a lot earlier in the day.
