I made my first sale on half.com today. I'm not sure what the profit will be when all is said and sifted, and apparently they only pay out twice a month, so it'll be a bit before I know. But there will be one.

Congratulations!

If you go to half.com and log on to your account, then click on sales, it will break it down for you: Sales Price PLUS Postage Allowance MINUS Half.com's Commission = Net you will be receiving.

I've found that the postage allowance is usually a bit more than what I actually have to pay, so it covers a bit of the packaging cost.

Hint: For light items like a CD, when you go to the post office ask them to compare media mail and first class. Sometimes first class is actually cheaper.
