I live, write, and garden in the PNW with my husband of 30 years, disabled daughter, autistic son, and my 85-year-old mother. We have paid off $250,000.00 worth of debt (if you include the interest) in the last fifteen years and as of 6/12/2020 are 100% DEBT FREE!!!!Last night I added $4.16 to the coin jar after buying milk and some bread (just not up to the effort of making bread lately). I also found a roll of dimes and pennies that had gotten shoved to the back of the sock drawer (where I keep them after they've been rolled), so right now I have $16.50 ready to deposit to the Safety Net portion of the Emergency Fund. I usually wait until I have over $30 to make a deposit, but since I will be going over that way today I will just make the deposit today.
