Survey Earnings

January 30th, 2007 at 02:40 am

I did a 300 point and a 200 point survey today at Lightspeed that put me over the top on my points, so I was able to cash out for a $10 check, sent to paypal, supposedly by the end of tomorrow's business day. We'll see. The last time I had enough points to cash out there they sent a check in the mail.

I am still waiting on ReadRevenue, which is driving me crazy. At least when TinklyCash went on the fritz, they told us why. Sigh. If I hadn't had such a good exerpience with ReadRevenue, I would have given up on them after this. If I haven't gotten my money by 2/13, which will make it a month, then I will no longer use it anymore.

I too have had no luck with Lightspeed. I fill out the first few pages, then it tells me I don't qualify. Whats your secret? I have been doing them for over a year and still have 0 points, but lots of entries for prizes (no wins there either). I was beginning to think it was rigged.

American Consumer Opinion Panel and Your2Cents are my favorites. I ususally qualify for one or two a month from them both. ACOP also does product trials (real ones with no cost to you). These ones pay you outright. ACOP pays individually for every survey completed and Your2Cents pays out when you reach $5, with surveys ranging from $1 to $3 and they are horribly involved surveys.

As for Lightspeed, it can be hit or miss. I don't always qualify for those, but I do maybe half the time. The real trick is to do them right away. The longer you wait after you get the invite, the smaller your chance of qualifying is. Also, don't just rely on them sending you email invites. Check their website daily as they will have some surveys listed that you don't ever get an email for but you still might qualify for. Their best ones are when you get one that is testing a new commercial, those ones are worth 300 points when most are only worth 75.

Global Test Market is a good one.

NFO MySurvey is pretty good for some people. I have found that I don't get offered as many surveys as other people from them though.

After taking a few surveys you get to know where the survey is heading and tweak your answers to fit what you think they want to make it past the qualifying round. For example they'll have you check off from a list all the frozen foods you bought in a month. Even if it isn't something I have bought that month, if it is something I have bought previously, I will mark it, because I at least know the product.

If you are willing to hang in there and put up with doing all the non-paying surveys, SurveySpot eventually offers paid surveys.

Whoops, I meant that Your2Cents was NOT horribly involved surveys. For some reason it won't let me edit it.
