Meal Planning and Swagbucks

I have done great on Swagbucks this month already without hardly trying. Today there is a swag code until 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET. It is prosperity and worth 7 points.

Meal planning this week is again trying to get in some of end of summer vegetables and fruits.

Monday:
Beef chuck pot roast
Baked potatoes
Romano broad beans
Watermelon

Tuesday:
Spaghetti
Homemade spaghetti sauce with fresh tomatoes, fresh onions, minced garlic from the jar, fresh basil, fresh oregano, fresh thyme, a pinch of dried rosemary, freshly ground sea salt and freshly ground pepper and some tomato paste)
Meatballs (ground beef, Italian bead crumbs, parmesan, romano, egg)
Cole slaw

Wednesday:
Meatball sandwiches
Leftover cole slaw
Fried potatoes made with leftover baked potatoes
Nectarines

Thursday:
Fried rabbit
Corn on the cob
Broccoli/cauliflower
Cantaloupe

Friday:
Homemade pizza made with leftover spaghetti sauce (onion, bell pepper strips, ham, pepperoni)
Kohlrabi

Saturday:
Bacon cheeseburgers with homemade buns
Fried potatoes
Salad
Watermelon

    Sorry, off topic but Kudos for having DKs on a savings plan and hope they understand the importance of setting a goals and having a concrete plan to achieve them. By high school our DSs each had a low cost mutual fund [I had to co sign until they were 18] and made nearly monthly contribution from a combination of small earnings, birthday/celebratory gift money and paid chores. Middle school had done a segment on how the stock market worked using play money and that skimpy underlay of knowledge set the wheels spinning in their heads when they had real money and 'skin in the game.' DS1 in particular is developing into an excellent money manager and I'm excited to see what happens when they finish university.
